Self Sufficient Financial Self Defense

Alpha Strategy is an excellent book by John Pugsley published in 1980. I bought it at a used bookstore about 6 months ago and am using it to help with my planning. You can get it now! It is available by free download at the link above!

Pugsley does a great job educating and then making recommendations. First he fills you in on basic economics, money and the pitfalls and perils of fiat banking (what we have in the US and most of the rest of the world). Then he tells you how to beat inflation/deflation and preserve your wealth (however much or little you may have.)

Skills and real goods/physical assets are keys to the Alpha Strategy. Which ones are enlightening for those of us new to self sufficency planning.

His approach fits very well with anyone working towards becoming a self sufficient family.
