Self Sufficient Family Web Site Changes

Thanks for your patience. If you noticed the site being a bit unstable the last couple of days don’t worry. It’s almost done!

What am I talking about?

We are now hosted at Host Gator. These guys are great! Lots of disk and bandwidth for a reasonable price. (If you decide to try them out that link is an affiliate link.)

The entire site (except banner ads and newsletter subscription) has been converted from WordPress to Drupal. WordPress is great, but I am about to outgrow it. Drupal has some amazing features.

What’s coming in the near future?

The blog will continue and grow.
I’m going to be building a library of resources I’ve been finding so that people can find them all in one place.

I’ll be adding a members only area for paying subscribers. They will get access to the full library and private forums.

I’m talking with some leading experts in survival and self sufficiency about doing some reports for members and products (DVDs and CDs) to sell to everyone.
