Stressed out? Money, work, family, over-scheduled, too much to do lifestyle got you scattered all over the place? Here’s a simple process to help you get back to that calm, happy place. Remember that place? Where smiles are easy to come by and instead of growling at your loved ones kisses and hugs flow freely.

Let’s get you back there fast!**

First, your attention is probably focused on something very specific or all over the map. Maybe, a stress-inducing monster like your demanding boss or an unreasonable client? Or, maybe you have a bunch of over-zealous gremlins pulling your mind in a thousand different directions. None of them happen to be leading you anywhere near your happy place.

Peace and Happiness, now. Please!

Shift your attention to your Breath. Just watch yourself breathe. Yep, in-out, in-out. If it helps, here is a picture I took from a spot I was meditating at this weekend. You can just hear the gently lapping waves, can’t you?

I happened to be putting my attention on the ducks that evening. Imagining the world through their eyes was very relaxing. Left me craving sushi.

Spend a few minutes in this state of shifted attention. Just watch your breath, allow everything else to float on by. You can always continue with the dragon slaying when you’re finished watching your breath.
